Wow, we haven't used this in a while.

This is mainly directed at the Bronzebeard 70s - Jisa, Kaymeth, Samireynn.

I don't know if Jisa is keyed for Kara or not, but DotA is going to try and get two Karazahn groups off the ground, which will give DotAfriends a chance to raid (so you might like to consider it!)

Anyway, once you knock off the first couple of solo quests, you get a quest for Shadow Lab. Can has Shadow Lab this weekend? I'm working saturday morning as usual, and there are the usual campaigns sunday afaik, but other than that I don't have any current commitments.

Dave can't make it, and Alex and I are driving down south tomorrow so
it would probably be good to get to bed earlyish, so no Scholo
tonight, alas.

Maybe sometime next week? I am totally in favour of levelling
Anassanna in instances, even old ones (anything to avoid questing in
Outland on a PvP server).

Scholomance Friday?
I know Jen can't make it, but can anyone else? I believe Grimowen still needs it for his epic mount quest, yes?

This is, of course, dependent on servers being up and operational and not crashing/being restarted every fifteen minutes.

BTW: We'd probably get XP for this. *grins*

FYI I will be presenting a Cosplay panel at Genghiscon this coming friday evening, so I will not be available for instancing.

Dire Maul Friday
oliverm suggested Dire Maul West again for Friday, since we know what to do better now.

Setting start time for 7:30pm again (if there are no server resets we might finish this time!).

Patch notes
Blacksmithing/Leatherworking specialization has changed with specialization providing recipes to make powerful items that only you can wear. You can now unlearn a blacksmithing or leatherworking specialization and learn a different one by finding the appropriate NPC, paying the fee to unlearn your old specialization, and then find the new specialist to learn a new one. Also, all of the old blacksmithing/leatherworking recipes that required specialization no longer require it and can be learned by any blacksmith/leatherworker.

This Friday, instance run, 7:30pm.
No idea what, yet, but Dire Maul or something in Blackrock Mountain has been suggested. Log on at 7 to discuss where we go. *grins*

With no roleplaying on tomorrow the possibility of an instance run has been suggested.

Dave, Chas and I are all up for it, anyone else available and willing?

Sunken Temple Friday
I keep forgetting to post this at home, so I'm posting by email.

Sunken Temple, starting 7:30pm Friday night (ie. tomorrow), yes/no?

Operation Ground and Pound
After my exams, who is up for some group pvp? (i.e. Vel, get your druid's night elf butt to 60 ^^)

I'm pretty much exalted everywhere, so whichever BG people would want to do would be fine.

Current Mood: curious

This was posted via email.
I just realised that this Friday is Grahame's birthday dinner, so I
can't make an instance that night (except possibly afterwards - I
don't know how late that would be).

Sorry guys.

All BG rep is being reset in expansion. So if you are 90% of the way to exalted you will lose all your rep. So you better get to exalted if you want it before TBC comes out!

So, that was a bit marathon...
... but a pretty awesome instance run nonetheless.  Though various people made small mistakes, as a group we handled the problems that ensued brilliantly.

Most of us got no great loots, but our MH got some awesome healing gloves, so as far as I'm concerned that's a buff to the whole party.

I'm free this Friday AND the Friday after, amazingly enough.  Who else is up for an instance on either/both of those days?

Bad news
[msg] J!Dave mobile
--Sorry, I probably won't be home in the evening until 10 tomorrow--

No tank until after 10pm. Thoughts?

edit: oliverm seems to want to take one for the team. Looks like 4man, no 'lock.

The Shadowy Angel Kalika, saying hullo :P

I moved Kalika over to Maelstrum for when the expansion comes out! Though don't expect to seem me on here till then really, and even then I'm mainly just going to be playing a Blood Elf with Dean ;)

But yeah, Kalika is on Maelstrum, shadow Priestess goodness. She has a lot of spare mats and shit in the bank if you need some random gems or stuff.

Also 300 engineer/miner, Gnomish.

So because having both a Resto Druid and a Holy/Disc Priest in the party is a little superfluous, coupled with the fact that I've been blowing things up on Bronzebeard on my Mage recently, I'm probably going to respec Anassanna DPS.

This is a Shadow/Disc build:
- I'm used to healing with a Holy crutch
- No Divine Spirit. :(
- Shadow Weaving will be good for our Warlock
- Improved PW:F
- Some mana regen while casting
- Inner Focus

I'm also contemplating this build - Dics, +DPS Holy
But since we have a Warlock, Shadow is probably a better option...

Thoughts? Other suggested builds?

Retail therapy
Sonnstein may just have bought a [Dwarven Hand Cannon] and a +7 scope.

Because Marksmanship spec and a Carapace Spine Crossbow just don't do enough to pull aggro off my pet...
